First aid training on 1260 Squadron is delivered in line with the current contents of The Air Cadet Training Instructions.  This will enable cadets to build on the knowledge and skills as they progress through their time in the corps.

The first stage is the HeartStart® programme which is taught during the period of training leading up to the First Class Examination. This is a planned course complete with resources which is delivered in six training sessions and the course is tutor assessed.

There is an opportunity for cadets to enhance their First Aid knowledge and also to represent the squadron at the annual Wing field Day when we compete against other local Air Cadet groups.
